Boswellin® Super provides 30% AKBA, a standardized natural chemical proven to reduce LOX-5 and COX-2, as well as other activators that contribute to the damaging effects of excess inflammation. It also provides a total of 75% boswellic acids, which further prevent associated oxidative damage.

InflamAway features Boswellin® Super, a very concentrated and pure form of the ancient herb Boswellia serrata, commonly known as Frankincense. In traditional Chinese medicine Boswellia has been classified as an herb that promotes blood circulation and the regeneration of tissue.

Feverfew
Many researchers attribute Feverfew's anti-inflammatory/anti-migraine properties to the presence of the sesquiterpene lactone, parthenolide which is proven to hinder the inflammatory process and protect cells from damage caused by excessive toxins.

Magnolia Bark
Magnolia bark is known for its aromatic properties and has been used to support a healthy stress response. InflamAway utilizes a Magnolia bark extract standardized to 50% honokiol, the most important and well-researched constituent within the bark of Magnolia. This compound has recently been shown to inhibit the formation of new blood vessels (anti-angiogenic) in-vivo and in-vitro through a variety of mechanisms such as vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) inhibition.

Andrographis
Andrographis is a Chinese herbal medicine well-known for its potent liver-protective, anti-viral, and anti-bacterial properties. It is very cooling, removes heat (signifying inflammation), and is appropriately named "King of the Bitters".

Chinese Skullcap
Chinese skullcap has confirmed anti-arthritic and anti-inflammatory actions, similar in effect to the commonly prescribed drugs phenyl-butazone and indomethacin. Unlike these drugs that are associated with toxicity and adverse effects, Chinese skullcap does not appear to have any adverse effects at the therapeutic levels found in InflamAway.
